Christopher Farr Cloth Collab
We recently collaborated with Christopher Farr Cloth, to create a bespoke screen design to showcase their new Anni Albers collection of woven fabrics and wall coverings at their Kings Road Store in London. Our handmade walnut screen features two colour iterations of the brand’s new 'Camanio Real’ weave, shown here in Terracotta and Denim.
Anni Albers is known for her skill as a weaver and her acute understanding of art and design, Albers was a truly inspiring artist who pioneered twentieth-century modernism. The inspiration for 'Camino Real' weave came from a preparatory study in the 1960s. Anni was commissioned to produce a wall hanging installation for the Camino Real Hotel in Mexico.
