Specialising in bespoke, artisan room divider screens, we create pieces that are meticulously handmade in London, combining heritage craftsmanship with modern design. By blending timeless elegance with contemporary functionality, our work enhances both residential and commercial interiors while celebrating the art of traditional techniques.

Founded in 2022 by creative director Lily-Blue Roman, the studio is the culmination of her lifelong passion for art, textiles, and vintage interiors. After a 20-year career in luxury fashion communications and an education in upholstery and arts management, Lily-Blue introduced The Floating Screen, her first design. Her vision was to create meaningful, high-quality objects that enrich lives, endure through generations, and honour sustainability.

Collaboration is central to our ethos, working with contemporary artists and luxury fabric houses to create screens as unique as the spaces they transform. Regular showcases at the prestigious Design Centre Chelsea Harbour highlight the artistry and precision of our designs, whether they serve as bold focal points, subtle partitions, or functional works of art.

Each screen is made to order, reducing waste and ensuring every detail meets the highest standards. Designed to stand the test of time, these pieces are more than just furniture - they are stories waiting to be passed down.
